I love Ally Carter, she is one of my favorite authors, and I generally adore everything she writes. This is no exception. I loved this book, read it constantly, and when I wasn't reading it, I was thinking about it. That is a sign of a good book. The series is looking like there will be one more, maybe two--but I doubt it--and I can't wait for the next tale of Cammie and her friends to come out.

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight

This book is about a girl, Hadley, and a boy, Oliver, who meet on a overnight flight from America to London. Over their plane ride they bond and grow close together, but then the plane lands and they have to go their separate ways. What will happen to this trans-atlantic couple? You'd have to read the book to find out!

I thought that this was an ok book. The story was cute, but fairly predictable. It was adorable, but also told in third person, which got a little wierd becuase the third person was intermixed with Hadley's personal thoughts. Overall it was an easy, light, enjoyable read.

Fever (Chemical Gardens #2)

This is the second book of the Chemical Gardens Trilogy. Rhine and Gabriel have finally escaped from the mansion, but they aren't really free. Challenges face them at every turn, and they feel more trapped than ever. Will they survive out in the real world, or will they wish that they were still safely inside the mansion?

I didn't think that this book was a good as Wither. Wither was just so amazingly good that Fever doesn't measure up. There are certain things I like more about Fever, like the touching, personal moments that Rhine and Gabriel share, but overall Wither was better. Can't wait for the third book. I'm hoping that Fever is just suffering from the typical second-book-of-trilogy-lag that is often found in trilogies. I'm thinking that it is, because Fever definately set up a lot of things for the big finally!

The Hunger Games

I think that most people know the plot of the Hunger Games, but if you don't, it is about a teenage girl, Katniss, who is selected to go fight in a battle to the death with 23 other teenagers.

I thought that it was a very good movie. I have read all the books and I thought that the movie was very true to the books. The one thing that I didn't like was some of the wierd camera angles that were used in the movie. But I understand that they were necessary during the bloody fighting scenes. It was a PG-13 movie, and that sort of violence would be R rated. Other than that, I loved it! Can't wait for the next one!

Divergent

In this futuristic society, society is divided into five factions. On your sixteenth birthday, you must pick the faction that you will belong to for the rest of your life. Beatrice, the main character is from Abnegation, the self-less.  When Beatrice goes in for her aptitude test, her proctor tells her that she is divergent. Divergence is very dangerous, and she is not supposed to tell anyone. What faction will Beatrice choose? And why is being divergent so dangerous?


The only bad thing I can say about this book is that it falls into the current fad of being a futuristic dystopia, created by the Hunger Games--which I loved, I'm not hating on Katniss. But that is the only bad thing I can say. I loved this book, it was smart, and interesting, thrilling, and a little bit of romance. I can't wait for the sequel, Insurgent, out in May.

Beautiful Chaos (Caster Chronicles #3)

This is the third book in a trilogy--I think, don't quote me on that. The first book is Beautiful Creatures, in case anyone is wondering. This book finds Lena, Ethan, Link, and Ridley preparing for the end of days, due to the fact that the Order has been destroyed. They have to figure out how to fix a New Order and save everyone they love.


On the jackert cover, it said that there wasn't going to be a happy ending to this book, and believe me there wasn't. I was reading this in school and I was starting to cry. I had to stop and wait until I got home to finish it! But it is sooo good!! I loved it, best one yet. (I found out in early June that there is going to be a fourth book, Beautiful Redemption coming out on October 23 of this year! So excited, I thought it was a trilogy)

Never Have I Ever (The Lying Game #2)

This sequal was so good! Emma continues to pretend to be Sutton, while trying to figure out who Sutton's killer is. She thinks that she finally has it all figured out, but will she be able to prove it before her killer gets stops her.

This book, in my opinion, was even better than the first. I am definately going to continue with this series and I would definately recommend it to others. Girl books, sorry boys, lots of makeup, conflicted emotions, and a little kissing.
